What can we eat to break our fast during ramadan - EID ?

All muslims who observe fast during ramadan break their fast by iftar or say by doing iftar by eating dates - preferably 3 in number.
but its not necessary to use the same way to break fast. in various countries people break their ramdan - eid fast by different methods.

Here is a list of What can we eat to break our fast during ramadan - EID ?

Afghanistan :

  • Shorwa- soup.
  • Traditional dates.
  •  Kebabs
  •  du piyaza (meat stewed in an onion-based sauce),
  •  Manto (seasoned, minced meat wrapped in pasta),
  •  kabuli palaw (rice with lentils, raisins, carrots, and lamb),
  • shorm beray, bolani (fried or baked flat bread with a vegetable filling).
  • Sweet dishes and desserts.

    Bangladesh


    • Piyaji (made of lentils paste.
    • Chopped onions, green chilies, like falafel),

    •  Beguni (made of thin slices of eggplant dipped in a thin batter of gram flour),

    •  Jilapi, Muri ( puffed rice similar to Rice krispies ),

    •  Yellow lentil grains,

    •  Usually soaked in water and spiced with onion, garlic, chilli and other iftar items),

    • Noon (bread usually lavash or barbari).
    • Paneer (cheese).
    •  Fresh herbs.

    Pakistan


    • Jalebi (pretzel-shaped, deep-fried batter, soaked in sugar syrup).
    • Samosas (minced meat and/or vegetables, wrapped in dough and deep-fried or baked).
    • Namak para (seasoned cracker), besides the staple dates and water.
    • Rooh Afza, a sweet syrup-based drink, is also considered an integral part of the iftar in Pakistan, sometimes replacing water.
    • Pakora (sliced vegetables, dipped in batter and deep-fried) with ketchup.

    India

    • In  Hyderabad, - Haleem because it has a rich taste and is quite filling.
    • In Southern - nonbukanji, a rich, filling rice dish of porridge consistency, cooked for hours with meat and vegetables. Vegetarians of other communities are given a dish called surkumba, which is prepared from milk.
    • In Northern states- fresh dates, cut fresh fruits (sometimes served as chaat) and fruit juice along with fried dishes like samosas, pakodas etc.

    • Pastirma.
    • Sujuk.
